Foundations of Our CSR

Our Market Position

Qubiqa has transformed from a group of local companies into an international Group, matching other global entities operating in our industry.

We began strategic CSR activities in 2013. To date, few of our competitors have incorporated a strategic approach to CSR into their operations; however, our customers are showing increasing interest in responsibility, and we believe that sound CSR practices will gain increasing importance in our industry.

Our Products and Maintenance Concepts

Our products are known for the highest quality, and our solutions provide us with a valuable competitive advantage. Further development of our solutions and products, as well as our manufacturing knowledge, requires our employees to represent a high level of competitiveness.

Already today, for example, our products and systems for material transport in companies from the insulation industry and in power plants contribute—directly or indirectly—to creating sustainable development in our society, while all our products and systems for internal logistics take ergonomic considerations into account to the greatest extent possible.

To strengthen our position, we will continue to develop our know-how regarding our customers’ expectations in the area of sustainability and the requirements and expectations they place on Qubiqa. We are convinced that in the future, demand for products and systems that support sustainability and are manufactured sustainably will be even greater.

Our Organization and Employees

Qubiqa’s management has a solid foundation for conducting strategic CSR activities through our CSR strategy, the associated action plan, and the CSR organization whose task is to implement these principles.

The CSR organization is headed by the CSR Steering Committee, which includes Qubiqa’s CEO and Group Marketing Manager. The Steering Committee is responsible for directing Qubiqa’s CSR activities, including the CSR strategy and its implementation.

In addition, the CSR organization includes a CSR team responsible for implementing activities in this area. The Steering Committee and CSR team are jointly responsible for executing our CSR strategy. Qubiqa’s Group Marketing Manager leads the CSR team’s work and coordinates its activities.

We focus on providing our employees with the appropriate competencies and organizational framework so that CSR is rooted throughout the organization. Therefore, we will emphasize competency development across the organization and across borders. This will help ensure that we have the right team prepared to face future CSR challenges.

We have a strong foundation in Denmark and intend to maintain it in the future as well. We will continue to view our company as one whole and in daily work will leverage the potential of all departments to optimize collaboration and thereby integrate CSR into each of our daily work.

Qubiqa’s Profile

To date, we have not actively promoted Qubiqa based on responsibility and sustainability. We believe that we are currently perceived as a company with a high level of integrity and responsibility, but not yet as a company that operates strategically in the area of CSR.

We perceive ourselves as a responsible company and want our partners, and especially our customers, to recognize Qubiqa as a responsible and sustainable company—regardless of where in the world they are located. Therefore, we will build Qubiqa’s image even more effectively as the sustainable company we truly are—especially in relationships with our current and future customers.

Our Strategic Priority Areas in CSR

Based on our vision, values, and business strategy, over the past year we have conducted a process to identify our strategic priority areas in CSR, including through stakeholder analysis. These areas were then ranked according to their importance to Qubiqa and to our stakeholders.

We have identified the following strategic priority areas—areas on which we will focus our CSR activities through 2018:
